Anastasia Daquembronne Backstrand from a young age knew her passion for design. Her strongest memories growing up are of the weekly trips to the French country antique markets with her parents. She quickly learned of her love of old treasures and vintage antiques. These treasures filled her family’s home and created a “one of a kind” inspirational environment for a young designer. She was surrounded by 14th century architecture with walls covered in old oil paintings, rooms of rococo furniture and shelves filled with aged potteries. Imagination was endless in this whimsical world from the past.
Anastasia’s formal fashion education started in Paris at ESMOD where she immersed herself into the Parisian fashion world. There she found her love of childrenswear. After graduating, she chased her American dream by coming to California in 1996 and created Tralala Inc. in 2003.
Tralala brings a fusion of French vintage, Anastasia's design perspective with the color and vibrance of the American spirit. Tralala brings unique clothing to children across the globe which has led to a loyal following with stores in the United States, Middle East and Japan.
