Frozen Goodies Coming Your Way

Ever find yourself singing, "Do you want to build a snowman...?" Well here at The Frilly Frog, we often catch ourselves humming that tune more times than not. We have many Frozen surprises coming to the store just in time for Christmas and could not be more excited! We wanted to share some sneak peeks! So here goes...

First things first...

How stinkin' cute is this Frozen dress? Perfect for the child that loves to play dress up. Just to warn you though, you might have a hard time getting your child to wear anything else!

Next up is for a more subtle and casual look for school and everyday.

This is a new line we are soooo very excited about! We were contacted from the company several months ago and finally saw the line in person this past market and FELL IN LOVE! We ordered several other tees and could not forget about the boys which will be here in the next weeks to come.

Not that into Frozen? Don't worry - we have Cinderella!

And last but not least, we have the Frozen Elsa and Anna dolls by Madame Alexander arriving soon!

These dolls will be here the first week of December and will make the perfect Christmas present for your little princess! I hope you enjoyed some sneak peeks of what's to come at The Frilly Frog! Now tell us, which one was your favorite?!

Football Season is Officially Here

Hey guys! Last night was the kickoff of college football and I could not be happier. I used to hate when this time rolled around, but have grown fond of it more and more every year. I love dressing up in your school's colors and all the tailgate fun and it gives me one more reason to make every dip known to man.

We received some adorable gameday styles this morning from a new line we started carrying. We are loving all the pieces and it arrived just in time. Well, we were a little late for the Carolina fans but we have skirts and dresses for Clemson's game this Saturday. Here are some pics of what arrived and be sure to check them out on our website also.

Add a monogram and your kiddo will be ready to go! Come see these styles at the store because these pictures simply do not do these justice. I hope everyone has a fun and safe football filled weekend!

xo,
Ellie

Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit

Corey (my husband) and I were at a bible study one night and our friend was getting her baby ready for bed. We noticed the baby in what looked like a puffy sleepsuit. We joked and said she looks like a marshmallow. I asked what it was and they introduced me to the Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit. Their baby was having a hard time at night sleeping and did not like to be swaddled. They searched and searched and came across the Magic Sleepsuit and now the baby sleeps through the night - even 12 hours! When I heard all the good things about this product, I knew it would make a great addition to the store. Our friends heard about the Magic Sleepsuit but had a hard time finding where to purchase and ended up having to order online. We received our first shipment today and are so excited to become a retailer for this product. If you are not familiar with the Baby Merlin Magic Sleepsuit below is some more information I gathered from their website.

The Magic Sleepsuit is an innovative baby sleepwear product that provides babies with a cozy, calming, and safe sleep environment. The Magic Sleepsuit is designed for babies who are transitioning out of the swaddle, yet still need that cozy and contained feeling to help them sleep. The Magic Sleepsuit is designed to be used in the crib for back sleeping only.  Once babies can roll over in the Magic Sleepsuit, it is time to transition them out of it.

The Magic Sleepsuit is designed to be introduced at approximately three months of age when most babies are growing out of swaddling, transitioning into larger more spacious cribs from smaller sleep environments (cradles, bassinets, etc.), and able to sleep for longer stretches without parental intervention (holding, nursing, rocking, etc.). The Magic Sleepsuit provides babies with the comfort they need by helping to muffle their twitches and startle-type movements that can wake them prematurely, and by keeping them cozy and secure making it easier to go to sleep on their own or fall back asleep if woken. The Magic Sleepsuit is designed to help with baby's sleep patterns, but also gives the parents and/or caregivers peace of mind that their baby is getting adequate rest necessary for appropriate growth and development. It is recommended that babies transition out of the Magic Sleepsuit once they are able to roll over in it, since this is typically a sign that they are ready for more movement in their sleep, and the Magic Sleepsuit is specifically designed for the back sleeping position.

The Magic Sleepsuit is designed to be used in the crib for back sleeping only, the recommended position for sleep to reduce the risk of SIDS. The Magic Sleepsuit helps eliminate the need for blankets and other loose bedding, which is consistent with many recommendations to prevent SIDS.  The Magic Sleepsuit is designed to be used in a room of an appropriate temperature (SIDS prevention guidelines recommend baby's room be kept on the cooler side).

The Magic Sleepsuit can become a consistent part of baby's sleep routine that the baby associates with sleep. This can be a benefit when traveling because a pack-n-play and/or travel crib can be a strange environment, yet the Magic Sleepsuit is familiar.

Maureen is a wife, mother of four, pediatric physical therapist and founder of the Baby Merlin Company. Maureen’s educational background includes a B.A. in Biology from the University of Delaware and a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University. Her career as a pediatric physical therapist included work at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Children’s Seashore House, and independent contract services in early intervention and school based settings.

Maureen took a leave from her career to start a family. It was with her first child, who was not a good sleeper, that Maureen experimented with ways to prolong the quality and duration of his sleep. It was then that the concept for the Magic Sleepsuit™ was born. Maureen’s strong belief in the Magic Sleepsuit has driven her to want to share this product with other parents and caregivers, and has lead her to found the Baby Merlin Company to launch its signature product, the Magic Sleepsuit.

The Baby Merlin Company is family owned and operated, and takes great care to provide the best materials and best quality products possible. The Magic Sleepsuit has been put through comprehensive safety testing by Bureau Veritas Group, an international testing agency. The final product was also hand inspected for compliance with the Company’s quality and safety standards by KRT Audit Corporation, an international factory audit company.

You can purchase your Magic Sleepsuit at The Frilly Frog. Let us know if you have had any experiences with this product or how it worked for you.

Lilly Pulitzer Summer 2014!

Lobstah Roll!!!

Butter. Me. UP. This print was inspired by the Northeast Harbour in Maine. Lobster should be pronounced “Lobstah” and it’s best eaten in a roll.  We are obsessed with so many of this summers prints, but I think this is my favorite!  Here is a sprinkling of what we have in "Lobstah Roll"!

IPad Case

IPhone 5 Case
The Jaylynne dress is a cotton girls embellished dress that looks elevated but will be comfortable enough for your little to play. With busy social calendars, a girls birthday party dress is essential to every little Lilly wardrobe. The cap sleeves and sweet details make this the perfect choice.

Heading to a baby shower? Gifts for baby girls are always adorable, but how nice would it be to give the new little one her first Lilly. The Baby Lilly shift is a dress and bloomers set.

Jellie's Be Jammin!

Jellie's Be Jammin is another Summer 2014 print that is much cuter than its sting!  I have a love/hate relationship with this print ~ it's adorable but I definitely don't want to come in close contact with the real thing!  Lilly has outdone themselves with these beautiful, colorful prints this summer (wait till you see fall!!!)

Nothing is sweeter than a baby girl bathing suit. The Arbor infant bathing suit would be the sweetest first bathing suit for your little.

The Breakwater girls ruffle bikini is going to be your little's favorite this summer. Whether she's splashing in the pool or playing in the ocean, she'll look bright in her Lilly suit.

This girls tunic dress has all of the details of your favorite tunic dress - notched neckline - and will look so adorable on your little. Try this girls cotton tunic on your next family vacation, your little will look so cute walking to the pool in her own Lilly tunic.

Dory is a girls knit dress in happy summer prints. The top of the dress is solid and the bottom is printed - giving it the shirt and skirt allusion. It's a popular ladies style, now for your little.

Our Favorite!

Our personal favorite is The Dory Dress in Multi State Patch with our own little super model!

Summer 2014 is sure to go fast so come in and grab your favorite!!!

We've recently stumbled upon a cute new line called

Her product that intrigued us the most is the "Bun Bow"!  You can wear the bun bow in more than one way ~ around a bun, pony tail holder or on your wrist with bangles as a fashion statement!  We love them!  How will you wear yours?
